Distinguished Learned Colleagues,

It gives me great pleasure to warmly welcome you all to the Annual General Conference of our noble profession, holding here in the beautiful city of Enugu from the 22nd to the 29th of August, 2025.

This year’s theme, “Stand Out, Stand Tall,” is both timely and inspiring. As lawyers, we are called not only to excel in our individual practice but also to stand firmly for justice, integrity, and the rule of law. In an era where our profession is constantly evolving, this theme challenges us to distinguish ourselves with excellence, courage, and dignity—values that define the true Nigerian Bar.

I trust that this conference will provide an enriching platform for robust discourse, professional growth, and networking opportunities that will further strengthen our collective resolve as officers in the temple of justice.

Once again, I welcome you to Enugu, the Coal City State. May this gathering be fruitful, impactful, and memorable.
