I humbly convey my warmest felicitations to the Adeniyi Quadri led EXCO, the Law Week Planning Committee, and the entire members of NBA Ikeja Branch (The Tiger Bar) on the occasion of your 2025 Law Week, themed; “ Preserving the Legal Profession for Tomorrow.” This theme underscores the imperative of innovation and forward-thinking in our profession. As we navigate the complexities of our contemporary environment, it is essential that we draw inspiration from the pioneering spirit of our legal forebears.

Lord Denning's timeless observation in Parker v. Parker (1953) 2 All E.R. 121 serves as a poignant reminder of the need for boldness and creativity in our pursuit of justice and legal excellence. [Uyo-based Human Rights Lawyer ] In Nigeria, beyond the Superior Courts of record recognized by the Constitution of Nigeria(as amended), there exist several other layers of courts, most of which exist by dint of the laws of the various states.
