"It is my pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Executive members led by Mary Etim, Esq., and members of the Nigerian Bar Association-Young Lawyers Forum (NBA-YLF), Calabar Branch.
As you convened for your Summit with the theme: A NEW LEGAL FACE. This theme was and still particularly relevant in today's fast-paced legal environment, where adaptability and innovation are essential. 

As someone who has had the privilege of leading the Forum in Uyo Branch, I am heartened to see the commitment to continuing legal education and professional development. I got jealous of the sterling and superb delivery of the summit. Pure topnotch and it is highly commendable. Hence no doubt that the Summit will provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, skill enhancement, and networking. 

I wish you more success-breaking and impactful Summits in the future."

Akwa Ibom Customary Courts: Who will Save Our District Court Chairmen? By ~ Meti M. Ukpeh, Esq. [Uyo-based Human Rights Lawyer ] In Nigeria, beyond the Superior Courts of record recognized by the Constitution of Nigeria(as amended), there exist several other layers of courts, most of which exist by dint of the laws of the various states.
