"Fmr. NBA-Ikeja Branch Chairman, Mr. Adesina Ogunlana, was a worthy Rights Activist and model for most of us": Meti M. Ukpeh, Esq., Uyo-based Human Rights Lawyer mourns

Indeed, I am pained to hear about the demise of a foremost Human Rights Activist, Bar Leader, Patriot and Lover of the masses. Mr. Adesina Ogunlana, was a kind hearted man. The fact that he has shed the mortal coil is something I am yet to fathom. His activism as a right activist will be missed, he was a voice for the voiceless, a fearless Legal Practitioner, who was ready to always speak truth to power, no matter whose ox is gored .

I extend my deepest condolences to the entire NBA Ikeja Branch and to all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

Mr. Ogunlana was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and dedication within the legal profession. His contributions to the Bar and his unwavering commitment to justice and the rule of law have left an indelible mark that will continue to inspire us all. His leadership, compassion, and vision were instrumental in guiding the association through many significant milestones.

During this difficult time, may you find comfort in the memories of his remarkable life and the legacy he leaves behind. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues.
