"GODSWILL AKPABIO (GSM) RESPECTED ME AND THE VOICES OF THE MASSES: I WOULD HAVE SUED HIM IF THE 42-DAYS ULTIMATUM HAD ELAPSED." METI MONDAY UKPEH, ESQ.

It is no longer news that the APC had its congress wherein the quest as to which region should produce the next president of Nigeria come 2023 had been deliberated. From the political arithmetics,  it is most likely that the Ticket will be zoned to the southern part of the country to produce the next president.

Amidst good numbers of political elite from the region, an Uyo based social activist, political analyst, public affairs commentator and a lawyer,  Meti M. Ukpeh, Esq. prefers the former Governor, Senator and the current Minister of Niger Delta to others.

Recall should be made that the said Uyo based Lawyer had recently said thus: "Akpabio is the best hand for Nigeria. Everybody knows the great achievements he recorded for Akwa Ibom State, on the floor of the senate and currently what he is doing for the NDDC Commission. I tell you even a foetus in the belly will vote for him. He is an uncommon transformer. Nigeria will be better off in his hands. I charge the APC Congress to zone the presidential ticket to the SOUTH. It is the turn of the South. And when that is done, l give GSM AKPABIO FORTY-TWO (42) to declare his intention to contest for the number one citizen of this country or I ll sue him to court!".

After the Minister of Niger Delta had picked his Presidential Form and made his declaration to contest in the forthcoming presidential elections in 2023 in his Senatorial District, Ikot Ekpene LGA on the 4/05/2022, the Uyo based lawyer noted that the former Governor of Akwa Ibom state heeded to his words and the yearnings of the masses. However, he quickly pointed that if Minister had not declared his intention to run for the number political seat in the country within the Forty-two days Ultimatum(42) ,that he wouldn't have hesitated in suing the ex-governor.

Who wins the party primaries. The heat is on.
