SENATE PRESIDENCY: "Gov. Umahi, Sen. Orji Kalu, et Al, do not have the moral right to deprive Akwa Ibom State Senate Presidency for the first time since independence"

It is no longer news that the race for senate presidency has begun and political stalwarts like Ndume, Kalu, Umahi, Akpabio, among others, are strong contenders to be the Senate President of the hallowed Red Chambers.
In his words to our correspondents, the Uyo-based Human Rights lawyer said thus: "...since the birth of Nigeria and in fact democracy in this country, the good people of Akwa Ibom have been sidelined in the Headship affairs of the hallowed Chambers. Akpabio is best fit for that office. His records are there. He had transformed every sector of the his state and NDDC when he was there and can comfortably replicate same at the Red Chamber other than being a Rubber Stamp Senator for the Executive. The wait is too long--over 60years after independence and over 100years since Nigeria was birthed. Akwa Ibom people deserve effective representation through the headship of the 10th senate, particularly because of the Capacity of Akpabio and equal distribution of power. May such a day never come that we continue to be the proverbial goose that lays the golden eggs for the nation, but nowhere to be found in headship strings that hold the affairs of governance in the country, even for once in more than 100years. The other aspirants do not have the moral rights to deprive Akwa Ibom State the Senate Presidency for the very first time since independence. Let Godswill (Akpabio)be done in Senate presidency and Nigeria. Thank you."
