Chukwuemeka Mbamala, Esq. Bids Farewell To Members Of EBF, Guests And Observers To Anambra State For Its Quarterly General Meeting The past National Officer bids farewell to members of Eastern Bar Forum (EBF), guests and observers to Anambra State for its Quarterly General Meeting. The EBF Quarterly General Meeting which ended yesterday, 12th February, 2022 was a huge success. Mbamala, Esq. concluded by praying that God grants journey mercies to all members of EBF, guests and observers to Anambra State for its Quarterly General Meeting.

Congratulations to Ndifreke Aquaisua, a young astute Lawyer of Uyo Bar Branch who was appointed at the Quarterly meeting of EASTERN BAR FORUM held in Anambra from 11-12 of February, 2022. The EBF Comprising of Nine (9) member states chose its Young lawyers committee to be chaired by Mr. Aquaisua, a young promising man with competence and capacity, celebrated and congratulated by many including Popular Monday Ubani, Desmond Yamah, Ogaga, Auta, Habeeb Lawal, among host of others. The official unveiling of the EBF YLF will be made known sooner by EBF.

Without doubts, it is a truism that God gives leadership. Your emergence is not a surprise as your track records preceed you. As the immediate past Vice-Chairperson of FIDA NIGERIA, Akwa Ibom Branch, former Secretary of the Branch and a former Vice-Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Uyo, there is indeed, capacity, competence and strong will to continuously advocate for the rights of women and children. May l respectfully congratulate you and wish you success in your unreserved dedication to humanity.

Enefiok Anyanya Augustine Udoh, Esq; an astute and purpose-driven lawyer of Uyo branch, wishes EBF Members Journey mercies back home after a successful Quarterly Meeting ended on 12th February, 2022 . Indeed, a stone thrown up must gravity obey-- so must a task which sees the beginning lives to an end.  Assuredly, I had no doubt that at the end of the meeting, robust and impactful decision would be reached for the ultimate upliftment of the forum and legal profession as a whole.  Consequently, I commend the leadership of EBF for this massive contribution to the profession. Chinua Achebe once alluded that when we gather together at moonlight to have folklore, it is not because we cannot all sight the moon from our respective homes, but it is for the spirit of kinship and brotherhood. Hence, it is not surprising that lawyers under the umbrella of EBF converge quarterly to break words and chart a new cause for EBF, the legal profession and for the greater good of the society.  Assuredly, I have no doubt that at the end of the meeting, robust and impactful decisions will be reached and agreed upon for the upliftment of legal practice and the fundamental duty on lawyers to continually play a critical role in deepening our constitutional democracy.
