[ FLOOD] "My Heart Goes Out to NBA-Maiduguri Branch and Borno Flood Victims": Mr. Meti Ukpeh Condoles In soothe, in a country ravaged by perennial and protracted challenges, and Bornu State being one of the most hit with these challenges, still the recent flood that wrecked the entire state, is saddening, lamentable, coupled with its attendant consequences of tearing fathers, mothers, and children apart, lives and properties unspared. It melts my heart that a beautiful state like Borno, with great opportunities and potentials including viable legal practice, is left in ruins by this natural disaster. The displacement of homes and properties, is an occurrence the people of Borno may not recover from sooner, hence the need for all hands to be on deck for the state as they painfully go through these trying times. While I am verily begging and solemnly appealing to States, the Federal Government and International Communities to lead the charge in coming to the aid of Borno State,

Enugu Bar Chairman, Dr. Jude Ezeqwui With immense sense of humility, I write to grievingly register my condolences  on the passing of Dr. Jude, the past chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Enugu Branch. The news of his untimely departure has left all of us in the legal biosphere petrified   Truly, Dr. Jude was not only a renowned and  distinguished lawyer, but also a remarkable leader who dedicated his life to the service of justice and the rule of law.
