[ FLOOD] "My Heart Goes Out to NBA-Maiduguri Branch and Borno Flood Victims": Mr. Meti Ukpeh Condoles In soothe, in a country ravaged by perennial and protracted challenges, and Bornu State being one of the most hit with these challenges, still the recent flood that wrecked the entire state, is saddening, lamentable, coupled with its attendant consequences of tearing fathers, mothers, and children apart, lives and properties unspared. It melts my heart that a beautiful state like Borno, with great opportunities and potentials including viable legal practice, is left in ruins by this natural disaster. The displacement of homes and properties, is an occurrence the people of Borno may not recover from sooner, hence the need for all hands to be on deck for the state as they painfully go through these trying times.
